Excalibur
 (PDF: 105k)
The Excalibur projector is a compact, high performance laser graphics engine, compliant with the ILDA ISP specifications. Offering ILDA 30K scanner performance with CTI 6800 HP scanners. The complete system includes the optical head, scanner amp, PCAOM driver, and all interconnecting cables.
Excalibur utilizes the NEOS PCAOM for color and intensity modulation providing 6 channel color capability for RYGCBV systems.
All electronics are 19” rack mount, and can be 10 feet (3 Meters) from the optical head.
Suitable for both single and full color laser displays, using Argon or Argon/Krypton lasers, Excalibur provides stable and accurate beam directing for graphics and-or beam effects.
With a beam entrance height of 2” (50 mm), the projector can simply be bolted down on typical breadboard beam tables or for stand-alone operation it can be mounted directly in front of the laser, using a simple mounting rail.
Specifications:
Size: 12” x 6” x 3”
Weight: 5 lbs.
Power Input: 110/220VAC 4 Amps
Scanners: CTI 6800 HP
Lasers: Compatible with Class IIIb to IV from 5mW to 20W
ILDA ISP Compliant

Scimitar
 (PDF: 101k)
The Scimitar Laser Projector is a small format laser projector intended to be used with tandem Argon/Krypton mixed gas lasers, combining the outputs for high power applications. It can be used with either small frame (<5W) or large frame (>10W) lasers, providing both redundancy and higher power.
The Scimitar utilizes dual NEOS PCAOM systems that modulate each beam independently with efficiencies of 75% or better. After modulation, the first order beams are combined with an optical bridge with the resulting beam directed to an XY scanhead for final output.
A secondary optical path intercepts both beams prior to the PCAOM combining the unmodulated beams in a second optical bridge for a full power output for beams and-or effects.
The Scimitar projector is based on a 24” x 24”, 2.3” thick standard 1” grid ¼-20 hole optical table. The table has a black surface finish, reducing diffuse reflections. A protective housing of black anodized aluminum surrounds the table with primary access through the top via a removable interlocked lid that can be defeated for alignment purposes. This housing is 8” high and has removable front and rear panels for easy access.
Specifications:
Size: 24” x 24” x 8”
Weight: 80 lbs.
Power Input: 110/220VAC 6-10 Amps
Scanners: CTI 6800 HP or 6215
Lasers: Compatible with Class IIIb to IV from 5mW to 20W
